When we showed up for Trent University’s 50th Anniversary Homecoming, also known as The Head of the Trent Regatta, we weren’t sure what to expect. We’d never been asked to play a sporting event before!
Upon our arrival, we got it instantly… This is so much more than a just a sporting event. The trent kids represented strongly in all their greenery with the hashtags #hotr and #bleedgreen ubiquitously visible across the entire campus. And of course, racers clad in spandex rowed their sleek boats up and down the Otonabe River to the shouts and cheers of excited onlookers lining both sides of the water.
This was probably the best crowd we’ve played to so far! Taking the stage after Cheap Suits is no short order, but we were so well received and hope to see you crazy kids again soon.
